Alive Industry Seven Star Guard Sprocket
The basic 7-spoke design designed by team rider Daisuke Shiraishi has been retained, and a 5mm-thick guard section has been added to protect the chain from accidental bumping during grinds and other unexpected situations.
The 6mm clearance between the teeth and the guard is designed to prevent long chain connect pins up to 12mm in length from rubbing against the guard if the chainline on the bike is correct. The material used is 7075-T6 aluminum, which is stronger than the standard specification without the guard.
